Why I’m Qualified to Pull Your Coat

Why I’m Qualified to Pull Your Coat

I was asked by a listener: What Makes You Qualified to Pull My Coat ?

Every so often, somebody asks me: “What makes you qualified to answer these kinds of questions?”

It’s a fair question. And the truth is—I didn’t get here through theory. I got here through experience.

More Than Degrees

Yeah, I’ve got a Juris Doctorate. I know the law inside and out. I served my country as a Marine. I’ve owned multiple businesses and built investments that turned profits. That’s education, discipline, and strategy.

But the degrees and medals? That’s not what qualifies me the most. What really qualifies me are the scars.

Lessons You Can’t Learn in a Book

I’ve been on both sides of the law. I’ve lived the street hustle, ran clubs, built businesses, and helped people leave the game with houses, cars, and stock portfolios instead of just memories. I’ve sat in boardrooms where million-dollar contracts were on the table, and I’ve sat on curbs where the only thing on the table was survival.

You can’t learn that in school. That’s life, lived raw and uncut.

Mistakes and Comebacks

I’ve made bad choices and paid for them. I’ve made smart choices and built empires. Both taught me something. Every setback carved wisdom into me, and every comeback proved that survival and success aren’t just theories—they’re strategies that work.

That’s why when people send me questions—whether it’s about cheating spouses, abusive marriages, kids cutting up, or business hustles—I don’t answer from a textbook. I answer from the trenches. From experience.

Truth Over Theory

See, I’m not here to give you what you want to hear. I’m here to give you what you need to hear. No sugarcoating, no fluff. Because I’ve seen what happens when people ignore the truth—it costs them their family, their freedom, their money, or sometimes their life.

So if you’re looking for a polished professor with theories? I’m not your guy. But if you want the unfiltered truth from someone who’s lived it—someone who’s walked the blade, sat in the boardroom, and still standing—that’s me. That’s why I’m qualified.

The Coat Pull

At the end of the day, my qualifications are simple: I don’t just talk about life. I’ve lived it. And when I pull your coat, it’s so you don’t have to make the same mistakes I made—or so you know how to climb out if you already did.
